Bandai Namco’s Heihachi souvenir jacket is both awesome and infuriatingly expensive. It’s reversible, with both sides made of soft and shiny charmeuse. One side is embroidered with Heihachi, while the other side has his gi’s trademark tiger face. Limited to 1,000 pieces.
Actor and stuntman Eric Jacobus mimics the Taekwondo-inspired move set of Tekken fighter Hwoarang. He doesn’t launch his training dummy into the air, but he can pass for a Mokujin. Now do Yoshimitsu!
While this cinematic is devoid of gameplay, it does set up the story, in which we’ll find out what makes Heihachi tick, and the Mishima clan’s story will come to an end. The game will feature guest character designers, and one-on-one play.
The Iron Fist Tournament’s tag team setup returns, with new moves, stages and fighters, although we’re not sure if Heihachi’s new hairdo counts as a new character. The song is Switch by Will Smith.
