Thanks to Marvel’s hit movies, more and more fans are being introduced to the hyperbolic world of superhero comic books. Variant Comics gives us casuals a look at how far the dragon balling goes with this list of the Marvel
world universe multiverse’s gods.
Marvel rings the bell for the hype train with a short interview with the cast and crew of Avengers: Infinity War. The two-part film is the culmination of nearly a decade of after credit-scenes. Seriously though we hope they can make Thanos interesting.
Hot Toys ends the year with a bang by announcing this incredibly faithful sixth-scale action figure of the Dark Knight as he appears in the Batman: Arkham Knight video game. The 13″ tall figure comes with two faces, four pairs of hands and a ton of weapons and equipment.
During the recent lopsided battle between the Buckeyes and the Cornhuskers, OSU’s marching band kept us entertained with a fun halftime show featuring a variety of our favorite heroes taking over the turf. It also reminded us how much we miss memorable superhero music.

Just in time for X-Men: Apocalypse, the latest in Burger Fiction’s excellent series of superhero videos looks at how we got from a pointy eared, yellow armored Wolverine to Hugh Jackman’s moody, Johnny Cash meets Edward Scissorhands representation of the hero.
Unlike many recent superhero movies, Fox’s X-Men films have shied away from colorful and distinctive costumes. Kaptain Kristian points out how ironic this is, given that this team symbolizes oppressed minorities accepting who they are and standing up for their identities.
