To celebrate their 400th Honest Trailer, Screen Junkies takes on not one or two movies, but the entire DC Extended Universe – a series of questionably dark and brooding superhero movies that started with 2013’s Man of Steel. Despite their many flaws, we still keep coming back for more.

This 450-page book is filled with bios, stats, and stories about more than 1200 characters from the Marvel universe. Riding a bicycle usually involves sitting down. Sure there’s the occasional standing pedal for extra power, but lying face down is definitely not a normal position. That’s not the case for rider Michael Guerra who shows how this daredevil position can dramatically reduce wind resistance, speeding him past other cyclists.

Director Zack Snyder is finally releasing the Justice League he wanted to make. This trailer sees Batman rallying his fellow metahumans after a premonition of a terrifying threat to Earth, and teases new footage, including more screen time for Cyborg, baddie Darkseid, and the return of Joker. If you watch The Boys, you know that Homelander is a serious egomaniac. So we imagine that he’d be thrilled that artist Dr. Garuda decided to make this picture-perfect clay sculpture to show off his Aryan good looks, all-American costume, and killer red eyes. Though Homie would prefer a towering 30-foot-tall sculpture of himself.

From the poison brick-slinging Brickbat to The Horrible Hand, author Jon Morris’ humorous reference book catalogs some of the weirdest and worst supervillains in the history of comic books. (PG-13: Gore) With its over-the-top violence and incredibly questionable morality, the Amazon Prime series The Boys is definitely not for everyone. We enjoyed the wild ride for its first season, and are looking forward to seeing what’s next. Of course, Screen Junkies has a thing or two to say before season two kicks off.

The Hacksmith continues to build out his collection of superhero-inspired gadgets with a version of Aquaman’s trident that blasts streams of water from its three tips. He starts out with a small prototype, then scales up to a much more powerful full-size version. We’d like to see this connected to a larger water tank.

After fan demand, HBO Max will be rolling out The Snyder Cut of Justice League in 2021. The four-ish hour version restores Snyder’s original vision, adding characters left on the cutting room floor, and giving more time and importance to others. Some $25 million is being spent to complete the effects, score, and editing of new footage.

After the trainwreck that was David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, DC attempts to hit the reset switch by putting Guardians of the Galaxy writer/director James Gunn at the helm. This time, our ragtag crew of antiheroes works their evil version or good, or is it good version of evil in an action-packed 1970s war movie. Time for roll call.

We no have our first really good look at Robert Pattinson’s take on Batman. With director Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Dawn of/War for the Planet of the Apes) at the helm, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, and Andy Serkis as Alfred, we’re as stoked as ever for this new incarnation of The Dark Knight.

(PG-13: Language, Gore) After the surprising reveal at the end of season 1, Billy Butcher and the lads are on the run, while Vought International takes advantage of panic on the streets and introduces a new supe who could push Homelander further over the edge, if that’s even possible. Animator Deekay worked with audio designer QBSound to put together this amusing and cheeky little clip that reminds us of a time when Batman and Superman didn’t hate each other, and were actually the best of buddies.

A bunch of different artists offer their illustrative interpretations of the fiercest female superheroes and supervillains in the DC universe, while graphic novelist Shea Fontana profiles them. A great gift for comic book fans old and new.

After numerous requests to do Honest Trailers for individual Marvel movies, Screen Junkies smashed the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe into a single clip. Along the way they trash just about every trope, from the confusion of magic, science, and technology, to daddy issues, to their obsession with ’70s and ’80s pop culture.
