Nintendo’s endless runner is as polished and innovative as other Mario games. Super Mario Run simple tap and hold mechanic is fresh and fun. It also has asynchronous multiplayer and a kingdom-building minigame. The initial stages are free, but it’s $10 to play the full game.

Nintendo’s deceptively deep torture test chamber is coming to its handheld. Super Mario Maker for 3DS comes with 100 new courses, over 60 course elements and course sharing and collaborative building with other players.

Vinheteiro plays a medley of 13 tracks from the Super Mario series on a synthesizer he’s loaded up with 8-bit sounds. While we’ve heard lots of covers before, there’s just something about hearing them played with the original sounds.
