Awesome Studson Studio

North of the Border and Studson Studios both like to make weird, creepy, and nerdy sculptures. For fun, they recorded voiceovers for each other, with Adam reporting on Studson’s literal Mario Kart build and Studson voicing Adam’s wonderfully demented McDonaldland official Mayor McCheese. Those thin layers of clay really do look like Velveeta.

Tears of the Kingdom and Katamari Damacy have a few things in common, like gathering objects to create more complex ones. That inspired Studson Studio to combine the two games into one epic diorama. He gathered some characters and Zonai objects from TotK, rolled them into a jumbo Katamari, and then made a combo of Link and The Prince.

Studson Studio shows off the process of building a model based on the awesome and imposing elephant mechs from Horizon Forbidden West. Rather than buying the off-the-shelf Tremortusk collectible, he created a custom version out of parts from other action figures, toys, and everyday objects.

When you think about it, the podracer sequence in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, is kind of like a round of Mario Kart, minus the banana peels. Studson Studios ran with the idea, and put together this awesome Star Wars + Nintendo kitbash model that imagines what Toad’s podracer might have looked like.
