Awesome Strobes

Inspired by a Gatorade ad that used strobes to display images on falling water, 3Dprintedlife wanted to replicate the idea on a smaller scale. He developed a desktop version that uses solenoid valves to release water droplets illuminated by an LED strobe light. It only displays 2D images, but he plans on making a 3D version.

Need to be seen in the dark? This 3.25″ long pocket flashlight light features a domed diffuser and a bright LED source that runs on a single AA battery. In strobe and high output modes it pushes out 350 lumens of brightness. Its case is made from aluminum with knurled grips, and has a removable, reversible pocket clip.
