Awesome Steve’n’seagulls

Finnish band Steve’n’Seagulls offers up another great bluegrass cover of a rock classic. They performed their arrangement of Boston’s 1976 hit More Than a Feeling while enjoying a delightfully warm summer day along their country’s idyllic Lake Armisvesi.

Finnish band Steve’n’Seagulls pays tribute to the Top Gun franchise with a jangly bluegrass version of the Kenny Loggins track Danger Zone. The video combines live performance footage and a series of vignettes featuring a stereotypical American dude who really wants to fly like an eagle.

Finnish band Steve’n’Seagulls heads to the ski slopes to perform a rapid-fire bluegrass cover of a 1979 pop hit. Their cheeky thrash polka arrangement of The Knack’s My Sharona reminds us more than a little bit of “Weird Al’s” My Bologna.

Once we rose above the noise and confusion, we came across this fun cover of the 1976 Kansas rock hit Carry on Wayward Son, played with way more squeezebox, mandolin, banjo, and upright bass than the original. Performed energetically by the Finnish bluegrass band Steve’n’Seagulls
