The US Postal Service commemorates the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons with a set of 10 stamps. Tiamat, Drizzt Do’Urden, Acecerak and other creatures from the realms of D&D are presented in beautiful illustrations. The artworks are also available as posters, tees, and bookmarks. RIP Gary Gygax.

This custom metal stamp features a surface that disappears into its face. The Process visited Iwai Press Co., Ltd. to see how they make them. They start with an artist brushing a design on paper, scanning it, and turning it into vector art. The factory then machines the parts using EDM wire cutting and hand assembles them. The stamps sell for over $1000 each.

This unique modular stamp from Japan’ Shachihata makes it easy to make perfectly aligned calendars for any month. Its individual numbers and days of the week can be snapped together to stamp custom calendars onto paper. Arrange its digits vertically to make numbered lists.
