Awesome Shrek

When There I Ruined It isn’t making horrible versions of classic songs, they’re creating other kinds of musical mayhem. This brief but awesome mashup combines bits of Bohemian Rhapsody, All-Star, Never Gonna Give You Up, Lose Yourself, and a few other sound snippets. Follow their TikTok feed for more fun.

Vanity Fair sat down with Mike Myers and asked him to rewatch scenes from three of his most memorable movies: Austin Powers, Shrek, and Wayne’s World. Along the way, he talks about how he came up with his comedy bits and characterizations and acknowledges the creative teams who helped bring them to life.

(Flashing images) The whole “Shrek, but…” meme has produced some rather silly videos, including GrayWalf’s edit, in which he managed to compress the entire film to just over 3 minutes by only including the parts where they made the sound “E.” It’s a nice quick way to get through the movie, and still get the main plot points.

Following in the footsteps of Star Wars: Uncut, and Our Robocop Remake, 3GI Industries rounded up a group of over 200 fans, who each contributed their own scene to chop together into this line-for-line remake of Shrek. Also, the 3GI Industries website is priceless.
