Shunji Yamanaka and Takayuki Furuta are working on RiDroid CanguRo, a three-wheeled robot scooter. Aside from being a transportation device, it can also follow you, perhaps while carrying something else. It can also be set to go to a destination using an app.

Colin Furze made his son the coolest kid on the block by modifying the kid’s scooter with an electric jet engine. But don’t worry, Furze restrained his inner madman this time. The scooter is just powerful enough to move the kid from a standstill.

Bel & Bel makes chairs partly made of the front panel and front cover of ’80s Vespa scooters. The chairs are handmade, reclinable and height-adjustable. They also retain the functionality of the scooters’ turn lights.

Despite the added weight, this ordinary scooter actually got much faster and more powerful thanks to the guy riding on the back seat. Toyota should totally offer this as an option for the Prius.

Automotive artist Randy Grubb dropped by Jay Leno’s Garage to show off his two of his latest creations, the Deco Tri-Pods or Decopods. These are Piaggio MP3 scooters that Randy modified with an Art Deco style by hand.

We can’t imagine riding on this modded scooter is particularly comfortable – or safe – but we definitely think it deserves some sort of prize for what could possibly be the lowest motorized passenger vehicle we’ve ever seen.

We’re still perplexed as to exactly how this guy has enough momentum to pull off this trick, but our jaws dropped to the floor when we saw Kyall Dawson do a front-flip from his Razor scooter and makes it look effortless. Owwwwwwhat?
