Jeremy Polgar spent the last year perfecting this awesomely animated concept trailer for a film about Analog, the last android in existence and a journey of revenge which leads her down an unexpected path. We love the action, ’80s tinged neon glow, and sharp linework.
THE BEST Science Fiction
The Japanese trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens contains a surprising amount of new footage, including Finn, Rey and BB-8’s first moments together, the First Order’s troops and a potential reason for Finn’s showdown with Kylo Ren. Still barely any Luke though.
It’s worth digging through every second of the latest trailer to whet your appetite and feed your fan theories until December 18th. We’re a little concerned from his black-hooded appearance at 1:40 (and the mysterious masked Kylo Ren) that Luke might be a bad guy now.
After creating the excellent low-budget short film Arrowhead: Signal, Jesse O’Brien and Samuel Baulch moved on to create a full-length adaptation of their sci-fi flick about a mercenary who finds himself stranded on a mysterious desert moon, awaiting rescue from above.
Director Ninian Doff’s video for The Chemical Brothers’ new track works as a brilliant standalone work of science fiction, leaving us wanting to know so much more about this dystopian world that lives somewhere between Mad Max, The Walking Dead and Westworld.
