Awesome Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield is reusing its iconic World War II model to name its incoming electric sub-brand. Flying Flea will launch in 2026 with the C6 runabout. It has a lightweight forged aluminum frame, front suspension with an aluminum girder fork and articulating mudguard, and a magnesium battery case. Acko Drive was able to check out the C6 at the launch event.

Royal Enfield commissioned Bandit9 to make a bike based on the former’s Continental GT. The result is the Arthur, a graceful sci-fi creation. It features a custom frame, tank, rear cowl, handlebar, exhaust, swingarm and more. Limited to 9 units.

The Pegasus Edition of Royal Enfield’s Classic 500 was inspired by the company’s Flying Flea. A lightweight motorcycle built during World War II, the Flying Flea was deployed behind enemy lines via parachute. The edition will be limited to 1,000 units.

Custom bike shop Federal Moto came up with a cutting edge cafe racer that somehow retains Royal Enfield’s heritage. The Continental GT Grand Trunk Express is named after one of India’s oldest railway lines. More on Bike EXIF.

Royal Enfield’s new motorcycle is a no-nonsense adventure bike. The Himalayan has a 411cc single cylinder engine that produces up to 25hp and 23.6 lb-ft. of torque. It has a 21″ front tire, a 17″ tire, nearly 8″ of travel in its front suspension and 7″ in its rear monoshock arm.

Brands are quick to point out if their wares are hand-made or hand-painted, but sometimes we take that boast for granted. This craftsman helps us appreciate that premium touch.
