Jet World Masters is a competition where builders show off detailed scale jet models. The planes look amazing up close, but they really shine when they fly. The 2013 show is over, so you’ll have to wait til next year to attend.

For July 4th, the guys from Louisiana Hog Control sent their RC plane into the air and shot fireworks at it, providing a unique POV on the pyrotechnics as they whiz by the wings of the flyer. We want bigger fireworks next time.

For high-rolling RC car enthusiasts. The Mammuth Rewarron is a 1:3 scale 4-wheel drive trophy truck. It has a 4-stroke engine, oil-filled dampers, oil disc brakes and variable coil springs. It’s basically a real truck, only smaller.

This tiny indoor flyer weighs just 3 grams, but is nearly indestructible thanks to its carbon fiber frame and propellor. It’s not cheap, but it sure looks impressive in its aluminum carrying case. Flies for about 10 minutes per charge.
