YouTuber Jason “Ossum” Suter shows off his one-of-a-kind remote-controlled hot rod. He mostly used off-the-shelf RC parts – modifying a couple to suit his needs – but he designed, printed and painted the body and designed and laser-cut the aluminum chassis.

Niklas Roy made getting beer a lot more fun. He cobbled together a remote-controlled platform that can carry a standard-sized beer crate (or any similarly sized item) out of plywood, electronics from an RC car, windshield wiper motors and casters.

Presenting, the equally big brother of Codename: Colossus. Machination Studio’s HMC Galahad has 18 servos, a smoke machine for its exhaust, working searchlights and 33 guns, including a huge main cannon that fires ping pong balls.

YouTuber Samm Sheperd loves to make cheap model airplanes. One of his latest creations is a foamboard plane that flies using jet propulsion, thanks to an impeller that he took from a broken heater’s motor.

For the price of a real Jeep beater, Capo will give you an extremely realistic Wrangler scale model. For instance, it has working disc brakes and multi-link suspension. Here’s the kicker: it doesn’t come with the electronic components needed to make it run.

One of the most awesome looking RC cars we’ve ever laid eyes on, Tamiya’s replica of the classic Land Cruiser features a fully-articulated suspension, 4WD, and fat tires. It’s a complex kit, and you’ll need to BYO controller, radios, speed controller and battery pack.

RCScaleAirplanes shot this video of an imposing 18ft.-long (1:13 scale) Boeing 747-400 model plane. Model Airplane News says builder Adi Pitz spent over 2,000 hours making it. Its jet engines sound as amazing as they perform.

Dude Perfect show that they’re more than just trick shots, as they put a variety of awesome R/C cars and trucks from Traxxas to the test, including a tricky obstacle course, crazy roof jumps, and highlighted by an amazing hydroplaning run and a ridiculous long jump.

YouTuber MrLiftHog lost control of his remote-controlled airplane because he was temporarily blinded by the sun. The plane crashed into the sea and immediately got wrecked, but the GoPro camera attached to it kept rolling.

It’s not the fridge you need, nor the one you deserve. Haier’s officially licensed life-size R2-D2 scale model zips around via remote control, has a hidden mini refrigerator with room for six cans, and emits Artoo’s lights and sounds.

The guys from Dude Perfect organized a sort of olympics for R/C vehicles, putting powerful Traxxas remote-controlled cars and boats to the test in a series of challenging and goofy mini-games. The ramp bowling looks like a blast.

As a promo stunt for the upcoming Peanuts movie, Otto Dieffenbach – the guy who made us believe a man could fly – created this impressive R/C flyer that looks just like Snoopy as he takes on the Red Baron from the roof of his doghouse.

Machination Studio’s first toy is an intricate 20″ tall electronic mobile fortress with a retro-futuristic WW I theme. Most of its 400+ parts are 3D printed and all are hand-painted. It has moveable legs, guns and cannons.

Kuma Films caught up with a group of talented drift racers going sideways around Yokohama, Japan’s WARU Circuit. But these guys can’t fit inside their cars, instead they hoon around the scale track using remote controls. (Thanks Todd!)

Anki improves its robotic remote-controlled cars with a modular track system, new cars and abilities like drifting and jumping as well as team-based game modes, whether against other players or the AI. Drops 9/2015.

You can’t fly a real jet plane indoors, but watch Martin Müller’s 1:22 scale R/C model of the Airbus A310-200, flown impeccably around this German airshow a few years back. Its inflatable fuselage gives it that dreamy feel as it flies.

A 1:12 scale remote-controlled Batmobile from Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. Use your iOS or Android device as the remote control, and toggle its lights, spoilers, engine sounds and more. Comes with a Batman action figure.

We won’t blame you if you think the Fire Bucket is an official LEGO kit, but it was actually designed and built by Flickr user sm 01. The remote-controlled car has working lights, doors and suspension. It also has lots of custom decals.

An R/C plane with a body made entirely out of carbon fiber, making it extremely durable yet lightweight. Its swappable battery lasts about 3min. per charge. It has a 640×480 camera, but you can’t stream the video feed live.

The guys from Corridor Digital orchestrated this battle between a motley assortment of remote-controlled racers, joined by an army of flying drones equipped with deadly weapons. Many toys were harmed in the making of this film.
