Awesome Red Wing

Red Wing Heritage’s Irish Setter series are based on the 954, the predecessor of Red Wing’s 877 signature boot. The Moc and the Pecos bear the 954’s distinctive color, and have been constructed partly with materials, machines and methods from the 1950’s.

Red Wing teams up with classic outdoor brand Woolrich for the Red Wing Woolrich Boot; it sports white-stitched suede/nubuck leather and plaid wool panels on a classic sole.

The Beckman Boot keeps things simple but dressy: named after Red Wing’s founder, it sports a rounded toe box, black Featherstone leather, Vibram sole, and Goodyear welting.

J. Crew and Red Wing partner up with a remake of the latter’s vintage work boots; they’re made with triple-stitched US cattle hides, Goodyear welting and brass hardware.

Now available in the US, Red Wing’s Wabasha Boat Shoes are upscale yet casual; made in Minnesota, they feature a leather upper, leather insole and moisture-wicking leather lining.

A remake of a 1953 style commissioned by J. Crew, Red Wing’s Iron Ranger Boots feature a leather insole with cork for comfort, Muleskinner leather upper and Goodyear welting.

Part of Red Wing’s Spring and Summer 2009 line, their Classic Round Lace-Up Boot looks fresh with an Oro Russet Leather upper and includes their trademark Goodyear welting.
