Awesome Raccoons

This shiny raccoon table lamp brings a little bit of nature indoors – without the risk of rabies! The curious little critter is seen holding onto a light socket, illuminating his brass-painted resin body and beady little eyes. The lamp measures 13″ tall and is also available in a creamy matte white finish.

James Blackwood is a retired RCMP constable with a love for animals. With winter bearing down on the Great White North, he sat down on his deck to greet some of the local wildlife, playing Santa Claus to more than 30 raccoons by handing out grapes, hot dogs, and other snacks to the hungry horde. Not only does this raccoon have the gall to steal the cat’s food, she has the audacity to come and bang on the glass door with a rock until they feed it again. Contrary to the narrator, Rocksy is neither cute nor wonderful. She’s brash and kind of an asshole.

A clowder of cats is busy enjoying their meal when an uninvited raccoon stops by to see if he can get in on the action. His entrance and departure is not exactly what we’d call subtle, but it is comedy gold.
