The latest game from thatgamecompany – makers of Flow and Flower –  is upon us. We’ve played it, and while the journey may be short, it is truly worth the $15 price of admission.

Costume Quest takes the tradition of dressing up for Halloween and kicks it up a notch, with players able to transform into more powerful versions of their costumes. Rainbow unicorn costume FTW!

Scott Pilgrim’s adventures has reached its final chapter, but you can still team up with him and his friends to beat Ramona’s 7 evil exes. Coming out Aug. 10, 2010 on the PSN, and later on XBLA.

Lara Croft’s latest adventure might be one of the better downloadable games of the year. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light comes out on XBLA on Aug 18, 2010; PC and PSN versions follow in Sept.

Based on Spike’s popular TV show, this downloadable game features 8 real-life warriors, each with unique styles and weapons. Coming on XBLA this July 14 for $10; PSN release TBA.

This two-part Back in the Game trailer (1, 2) brings our favorite video game characters to painful, pitiful life: Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond promises to put them out of their misery.

Coming to PSN 10/15, Mushroom Wars looks a bit like Pikmin but is a fast-paced RTS with upgradable bases and weaponry; it’ll offer campaign, skirmish and local multiplayer modes.

Available today on PSN, Critter Crunch is a bit like Kirby meets Puzzle Fighter; called a Barf in the Night, the trailer above does the impossible by making binge eating cute AND competitive.
