Awesome Pry Bars

Made by Sinners and Stone, the Kronos V2 is a pry bar built for everyday tasks your knife wasn’t meant for: prying, scraping, bottle-popping, and more. Multitool maker MRF is offering a series of tools for keychains, pockets, and lanyards. Gerber is making a slimmed-down version of its useful Lockdown multitool. The pocket-friendly Lockdown Slim Pry packs a pry bar cast into its body, two flathead screwdrivers, a bottle opener, scissors, a nail puller, a 2.5″ knife blade, and a pocket clip. Available in bronze or onyx.

This trio of titanium pocket tools combines a pry bar with a flip-out mini knife. The tiny M390 steel blade comes in handy for cutting off price tags, opening boxes, and stripping wires. Each model has a sturdy pry tip, with various wrench configurations. The largest one, the Xbar Sid, provides greater leverage and has a built-in bottle opener.

This minimalist stainless steel tool from Gear Spool has a tapered end that’s great for prying things apart as well as removing labels, turning flat blade screws, opening cans, and cutting through packing tape. It can even be used to split logs when hit with a hammer. Measuring just about 3″ long, it’s a great addition to any keychain.

This hefty hand tool from Rogan USA is ideal for prying items apart. It’s made from 1/4″ thick high-carbon steel and weighs 11 oz. Its triple-ground edge works as a chisel, and its full-tang construction means it won’t fall apart, even with heavy use. We suggest wrapping its handle with paracord for comfort and grabbing the optional Kydex sheath.

Kershaw’s bargain-priced pocket tool makes it easy to pop open bottles, pry objects apart, and can also turn some flathead screws. It’s made from durable stainless steel and has a loop for attaching a keychain or lanyard. Weighs just 0.3 oz.

We love the clean and minimalist look of Daily Carry Co.’s titanium pry bar. The CNC-machined tool is just 4.5 mm thick, so it’s easy to carry on a keychain or in your pocket, and its edge is great for opening packages, turning flat blade screws, and cleaning/scraping tasks. Like all good multitools, it’s also got a bottle opener built in.

394 Components makes this handy pocket tool that combines two different kinds of pry bars. One has a traditional wide tip, while the other has a skinny “finger” style tip for getting into tight places. Both bars are made from hardened steel with a black oxide coating and have 1/4″ hex driver cutouts.

Rogan’s pocket tool is made in the USA from high-carbon steel. It’s got two chiseled edges that provide utility as a pry bar, log-splitting tool, and root-chopping digging tool. It’s also strong enough to hammer in tent stakes. It comes with a length of paracord for wrapping its handle. An optional sheath is available too.
