Pulling a Rabbit out of a Hat
Expect the unexpected when Buttered Side Down decides to try the classic rabbit out of a hat magic trick for himself. We can’t help but be reminded of the classic Rocky and Bullwinkle gag.

Check out this incredible point of view video captured by rider Kilian Bron, who managed to beat out more than 700 other bike riders on an unmarked 15.5 mile, 7800+ vertical foot downhill run in the 2019 Mountain of Hell competition in the French Alps. There was also quite the crash at the start of the race. (Thanks Matl!)
Buttered Side Down is always making such a mess of his place, it’s no wonder he needs a good vacuum cleaner. Witness the power of BSD’s very special Eureka upright as it makes quick work of the debris in his suckiest POV video yet.
There’s nothing quite as annoying as a house fly buzzing around – especially when there’s food involved. Buttered Side Down was making himself a sammidge when the pesky insect tried to make a move on his ham and pickles. Naturally, he attempted to exterminate the bugger, with limited success.
POV shooter Buttered Side Down tosses a couple of grapes up in the air to see if he catch and swallow them whole. Then, as usual, he quickly ramps things up to expert level. Does anyone up in here know the Heimlich maneuver?
Buttered Side Down tries his hand at sculpting clay, but like most of his videos, things quickly run off the rails, and his clay creations end up rebelling against their maker, and eventually getting the upper hand.
Tesla recently shared this brief time-lapse video shot from the point-of-view of a Model 3 going through the company’s assembly line. The car’s thousands of parts are installed by a combination of human and machine workers. We’d love to see a longer, narrated version.
No this isn’t one of those log flume rides from a waterpark. What you’re about to witness is the point of view of a large piece of wood as it makes its way through the RedStag Timber sawmill. We’re impressed they didn’t cut their camera in half or sand it down along the way.
After watching how badly homemade candy corn can turn out, Buttered Side Down should have known better than to try. But he still went through with it, with even more disastrous and bizarre results than How to Make Everything ended up with.
To further demonstrate the HyperSmooth stabilization tech in the GoPro HERO7 Black, the company dropped this video, featuring a trained eagle fitted with a special harness and one of their latest action cams, providing a literal bird’s-eye view of a soccer stadium.
Custom apparel printer Upstate Merch shared this video of the process of printing some awesome “Chewy” t-shirts using a six-color process on an automatic press, which helps create smooth and precisely-registered images. Buy the shirt from Wunderground Supply.
This smoke-filled Formula Drift video is some of the most spectacular driving footage we’ve ever seen. Watch as drone flying expert Johnny FPV shows off a little bit of what the Hypersmooth image stabilization can do in GoPro’s new HERO7 Black camera.
A trio of pilots known as the Romaniacs fly through mountains, canyons, and forests in this thrilling and immersive speedflying video captured from the perspective of their helmet cams. Play it on the biggest screen you can find for maximum effect.
Buttered Side Down lets us live another day in his shoes, as he searches for a new place to live after he finds himself ejected from his current house, and out on the street. It’s good to know his pet rock is still alive and kicking.
Director Claudiu Voicu took what could have been a typical snowboarding video into a visual masterpiece. He says his primary goal was to include the most challenging scene transitions he could think of, and we think he succeeded. The monsters just makes it that much better.
Take a trip on a roller coaster like none you’ve ever experienced before. Famed wingsuit flyer Jeb Corliss used a GoPro Fusion 360º camera to capture his ride, then stabilized the raw footage, resulting in a truly bizarre perspective. Thought that was strange? Check this.
We were just talking about how we needed to bring back the Pet Rock so we could make millions off of a freely-available resource. Looks like Buttered Side Down beat us to the punch, and his Pet Rock is so much more magical than the inanimate object we remember.
5MadMovieMakers has a little fun with his new Hot Wheels Zoom GoPro mount, and takes us on wild rides through four tricky loops, corkscrews, and dives, each viewed from three different angles. That reverse perspective of the chase car is great.
We’ve seen fast cars run the Green Hell in just under 7 minutes, but we’ve never seen anything like Timo Bernhard’s record-shattering run in Porsche’s 919 Hybrid Evo – with a bonkers lap time of just 5 min, 19.55 sec – which smashed the long-standing record by 51+ seconds.
Take an 80 day bike ride through Germany without even breaking a sweat. Thanks to Loeibeer we can all share in the magic of his ride through all of the Federal Republic’s 16 states in just 80 seconds. Though we do suggest wearing a helmet when riding.
Brighten your day with this super-short clip of a determined dog’s attempt to grab hold of a DJI Mavic Air quadcopter just as it attempts to lift off. Fortunately, he didn’t get caught up in the blades, or that could have been a far less happy outcome.
Pro BMX rider Nigel Sylvester and his bicycling buddies return with another immersive POV journey, as he tears through the streets of two of Europe’s biggest and most vibrant cities, popping wheelies, playing goalie, and chomping croissants along the way.
We’ve seen lots of POV footage shot from cameras mounted inside race cars, or even on the outside of a helmet. But during the 2018 Monaco Grand Prix, driver Pierre Gasly wore a special helmet with a camera and microphone inside, for an even more immersive experience.
