These figures from Super7’s ReAction series celebrate Sesame Street’s best friends and roommates, Bert and Ernie. The 3.75″ scale figures have articulated arms, legs, and heads and come in retro-style packaging. Bert wears a vertically striped sweater and comes with a pigeon, while Ernie has horizontal stripes and his beloved rubber duckie. Sold individually.

Illustrator Chet Phillips created this series of 11″x 14″ signed prints inspired by vintage Modern Mechanix magazine covers. Each of his imaginative Modern Machines and Inventions covers features a reimagined version of an iconic vehicle or spaceship from pop culture. We can’t decide if we like the Back to the Future or Firefly design the best.

Most of us know that you can’t believe everything you see on so-called “reality” TV shows. Weird History delves into the many ways in which the producers of the MTV hit series Pimp My Ride coached contestants, changed their stories, cheaped out on car mods, and manipulated outcomes to make the show more exciting.

Retrogimmick makes bootleg action figures and packaging inspired by TV shows, movies, and memes. Among our favorites are the Die Hard is a Christmas Movie, Wilford Brimley Diabeetus, Chuck Norris Action Jeans, and the Soprano’s Pine Barrens two-pack.

Artist Chet Phillips created this awesome deck of playing cards featuring hand-drawn illustrations inspired by vintage matchbook covers. The subjects of each image are drawn from pop culture subjects, from Alien to Monty Python’s Holy Grail.

Animator Trent Shy created this duo of excellent stop-motion claymations which capture the personas of colorful pop culture characters. The first clip catalogs blue characters from Stitch to Cookie Monster, while the second animation showcases green guys like Slimer, Gumby, and Pickle Rick.

We’re not exactly sure what we just watched, but this epic music video from Soda_Jerk and The Avalanches crams in countless references to pop culture icons from the ’60s through the ’90s, from Saturday Night Fever to Seinfeld, from The Warriors to Will Smith.

We wish we had the tenacity of this mailman, who probably has the most difficult route ever, which includes the likes of Indiana Jones, Freddy Krueger and Iron Man. Then again, we do enjoy laying on the couch watching cartoons.
