Artist WUZU clay made the cutest little sculpture of a Nintendo Game Boy / Game Boy Advance hybrid. They built the display inside a metal tin with an acrylic control section and working switches, then sculpted the game’s D-Pad, buttons, and characters out of polymer clay with magnets to hold them in place.

Pokémon will recognize this character as the Blastoise – a big turtle with powerful water cannons under its shell. 3D Sanago crafted this statue of the turtle and rigged it to shoot steam from its cannons instead of water. He used a stone to provide a curved template for drawing the body with a 3D printing pen. Turn subtitles on.

To celebrate 25th years of Pokémon, Baccarat enlisted artist Hiroshi Fujiwara to create an extraordinary collectible. Limited to 25 pieces, the 11.8″ tall crystal Pikachu weighs 18.2 lb. and sells for $25,000. For those looking for something more affordable, there’s a 5.8″ tall Pikachu for $440 and a 2.75″ Poké Ball for $410.

Realm Crafts spent a full year working on this incredible cross-stitch, packed with all 151 first-generation Pokémon characters. While we would have loved it if the time-lapse had more in-between frames to show us, the artistry of the work more than makes up for it.

Our latest look at Nintendo Switch’s mega RPG Pokémon Sword and Shield is a doozy. The game will feature open-world areas where wild pokémon are visible, raids for up to four players, and a three-turn move called Dynamax that turns your critters into giants. The game drops 11/15/19.

You’ll soon be able to experience the original Pokemon in a whole new light. Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon Let’s Go, Eevee! for the Nintendo Switch are 3D remakes of Pokemon Yellow, with added Alolan forms for each of the 151 original Pokemon. Drops 11/16/18.
