Seth Everman is back at his Yamaha to resume his hilarious, yet painfully accurate take on video game music tropes, poking fun at everything from unskippable cutscenes to those stupid underwater levels where you run out of oxygen and can’t move like you normally do.

“Like most niche interest jokes, I don’t find it funny. But at least I understand it.” Casually Explained imagines how the Universe would be made if a programmer was behind all of it. It’s an elaborate excuse to drop computer science and physics jokes.

Smartass Gus Johnson pokes fun at the wildly popular Primitive Technology series by demonstrating how he refuses to use modern tools too. The tighty whities made us spit coffee all over the laptop screen.

The whole idea of sitcom laugh tracks make us cringe. Do we really need to be told when something is funny? Regardless, hit TV shows continue to do it. Owen Cooper decided to see if it would be any better if he swapped the “live studio audience” with Ricky Gervais’ laugh.

Ever since Disney took over Star Wars, we’re getting at least a movie a year from the franchise. But one film that’s not currently on the docket is Pistol Shrimps‘ side story, in which Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum must destroy the Death Star after it blows up the White House.

(PG-13: Language) Apple just announced its latest $1000 wonderphone, and already the parodies are starting to roll in. We particularly enjoyed JacksFilms take on some of the phone’s more controversial and questionable design elements and features.

Netflix teamed up with the guys at Bad Lip Reading to kick off the third season of their drama Narcos, as the DEA cooks up a scheme to replace Pablo Escobar with his slightly less intimidating doppelganger. Basically, it’s the piss boy bit from History of the World Pt. 1.

“Is there anyone who isn’t worthy of this horrible hammer?!” ArtSpear Entertainment makes the god of thunder even dumber than he is in this nicely animated spoof of the Thor: Ragnarok trailer. It’s still not as funny as the fact that we paid to see Thor 2 though.

Stock image house Dissolve used their own library of footage to poke fun at some of the many generic and stupid commercials that pander to folks born in the ’80s and ’90s, and reminding us that ad executives rarely have a clue about how to actually reach their market.

“Let me tell you who we got for our black guy with a cockney accent…” Two well-dressed criminals puts together their caper crew wish list to pull off a big robbery in this parody of the Hollywood heist genre, and films like the Oceans’ series and The Fast and The Furious.

Movie trailer these days are so ridiculously formulaic. We’d love to see them handed over to the guys who make title sequences instead. In the meantime, we’re all equally qualified to make trailers, thanks to this easy to follow instructional parody from Auralnauts.

The kids on the FOX show MasterChef Junior have more cooking talent than most of us have as adults. Now, thanks to Gordon Ramsay and James Corden, the stakes are about to be raised even higher (and younger.)

Musician and all-around madman Andy Rehfeldt is back with another death metal cover. This time, he turns our favorite mild-mannered, cardigan-wearing neighbor into an angry member of the Army of Satan. Though at times, Andy’s death metal voice sounds a whole lot like Cookie Monster.

While at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Conan poked fun at the numerous versions and reboots of both Batman and Spider-Man in recent years. Then they became what they hated, and kept rebooting their joke. To be fair, it worked.

To celebrate his millionth YouTube subscriber, Andrew Rea of Binging with Babish decided to give a tour of his kitchen, then replicated an SNL fan favorite, the 15-layer Taco Town taco we were first introduced to back in 2005. The cook starts at 5:21. Guacamolito sauce ftw!

The eponymous hero in Portal A’s intentionally D-grade VHS short film must avenge the death of his best friend, who was murdered by an evil fascist android. The nunchuck vs. machine gun scene was awesome, though it could have played out much longer.

The fidget spinner hype is finally dying down. Corridor reminds us of the key to keep such fads going: a Japanese children’s show with tons of exposition and toys capable of destroying the world. Spinner, obliterate!

Hola! Have you ever had a bad experience with edibles? ME TOO! Dora The Explorer deals with some adult issues in AOK’s hilariously warped parody of the bilingual kids’ series that envisions Dora and her pals as 20-somethings. Boots looks like he’s really over it.

(PG-13: Language) “You know what, is there any way I can just talk to a computer?” Zebra Corner turns its vengeful gaze from Chevrolet to Discover Card. Watch as Mahk finds out the hard way that the credit card company will “treat you like you’d treat you.”

(PG-13) In January 2017, Gettysburg’s Hall of Presidents and First Ladies closed and auctioned off its wax figures of US Presidents. Several TV shows bought some of those figures. Guess who bought five of ’em. Last Week Tonight flexes that HBO money.
