Awesome Pacman

The Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man is one of the worst ports in video game history. Would it have been better if it was released today? Something Awful creator Lowtax thinks not. We bet the HD graphics are in-app purchases.

Everyone who has that one dream where they’re trapped in a Pacman game that is also the London Underground system will appreciate this funny print from the clever folks at publicgriefjunkie.

When he’s not gobbling up ghosties and the occasional cherry, Pac-Man is content to be a low-maintenance pet; just make sure his Pet Feeder has Pac-Pellets and to clean up the Pac-Poop.

Created by unmanned vehicle researchers, Roomba Pac-Man eats ghosts instead of dustballs; it uses cameras, Wi-Fi, and localization sensors–all controlled by joystick, of course.

The Cool Hunter’s been busy, with both Transformer and Space Invader skate parks on the way; still, our favorite project is a pair of Mini Coopers decked out in neon 8-bit livery.

Pac-Man’s charmed life was in reality quite depressing: constantly chased by deadly ghosts and forced to gorge pellets just to stay alive, it was inevitable he’d suffer a Dot Overdose.

French prankster Rémi Gaillard (remember his Real Life Mario Kart) is back again with Real Life Pac Man; it’s disturbingly asinine a-la MTV’s Jackass, but we couldn’t help laughing anyway.

It’s amazing what a few pixels can do, but these Pacman tees by LowRez.de might just leave you looking over your shoulders for yellow disembodied heads with a taste for pellets.
