A collaboration between 5.11 and Viking Tactics founder Kyle Lamb. The Operator Axe is made of stainless steel and has a bearded axe blade, a hammer point, a pry bar, inch and cm rulers, hex wrenches, 0.5″ and 0.25″ bit drivers and a sheet metal cutter.
ThrowRaft TD2401 Flotation Device
A US Coast Guard-approved, compact and reusable inflatable personal flotation device (PFD). The TD2401 measures just 11″x 4″ when packed. You can trigger its CO2 canister manually or just throw the device into the water, where it will automatically inflate.

BioLite BaseLantern

Jetboil’s new portable cooking setup consists of a two-burner stove, a 5L pot, a 10″ frying pan and a windscreen. The Genesis stove works with standard 16.4oz propane bottles and everything packs into an 10″x 7″ bag. The stove is also available separately.
EvenFlip Campfire Cooking Stick
An incredibly practical tool for cooking over open fire. The EvenFlip’s fork is easy to position horizontally above the fire, so your food cooks evenly. When one side is done, just rotate the stick and the fork will flip over while still staying flat.
Hotaru Portable Shower
Japanese company Hotaru is working on a portable shower system that can supposedly allow you to take up to 42 five-minute showers using just 20L (approx. 5gal) of water, thanks to its built-in filtration system.
Nozipp Sleeping Bag
A sleeping bag that uses magnets (yeah bitch, magnets!) instead of zippers, making it easier to get in and out. Its hood and two flaps can be closed or opened independently, giving you a bit of temperature control. Available in 6′ and 6’6″ lengths.
BioLite SolarPanel 5+
A 5W solar panel with a built-in 2200mAh battery. It has a sun dial that will tell you how to best position the panel. It’s also waterproof, scratch-resistant and has a 360º kickstand. There’s also a cheaper variant that doesn’t have a built-in battery.
