Nyko’s PixelQuest is a cardboard arcade cabinet kit for the Nintendo Switch. It has slots for the unit itself and two Joy-Cons. The controller slots have mechanical buttons for the shoulder buttons. You also get a pair of joysticks. Available soon for only $20.

Nintendo is bringing the beloved turn-based tactical RPG Fire Emblem to the Switch. Fire Emblem Three Houses adds troops and formations to its addictive rock-paper-scissors format. There will also be 3D overworld environments. Coming Spring 2019.

Mario. Sonic. Snake. Everyone is here. All of the fighters that have been playable in past Smash Bros. game collide in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch. There will also be new fighters, including one big surprise. The game drops 7/12/18.

Mario Tennis Aces for the Nintendo Switch features a variety of moves and counter-moves to keep you and your opponents guessing and risking. It has 15 characters, up to four-player online and local multiplayer and even a story mode. Drops 6/22/18.

Satisfye’s Pro Gaming Grip makes playing with the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode more comfortable. Its asymmetrical design keeps your wrists in the proper position. It also has a built-in stand and comes with two pairs of pads for the Switch’s analog sticks.

The Nintendo Switch is a pretty nifty gaming system all on its own, but there are a couple of ways in which it could be improved. LEGO builder vmln8r shows off a few accessories they built to enhance the system. The controller rail is a 3D printed part you can download here.

In the Switch exclusive Kirby Star Allies, Kirby can still inhale and ingest enemies to copy their abilities. But you can also throw hearts to befriend foes. Friends will follow Kirby and provide extra abilities, and can even be controlled by up to three other players.

Custom gadget shop ColorWare has a pair of NES-themed controllers for the Nintendo Switch. Both its Joy-Con set and Pro Controller are decked out in the NES’ black and gray color scheme with red ABXY buttons.

Nintendo Labo are upcoming video games for the Nintendo Switch that have a DIY component. The games come with flat pack cardboard objects that work with the Switch’s sensors to become controllers. There’s a variety kit and a robot kit. Drops 4/2018.

From the creator of Dust: An Elysian Tail comes a parody of Metal Gear Solid. Never Stop Sneakin’ is a top-down simplified stealth action game for the Nintendo Switch. It uses only the left thumb stick – every action is contextual. The folks behind its trailer deserve a raise.

Golf Story is a 16-bit style comedy RPG for the Nintendo Switch. Compete in golf tournaments, and upgrade and use your skills to help other people. It has various mini-games and a wacky cast. It also has a multiplayer quick play mode.

Performance Designed Products has a neat accessory for Nintendo Switch owners. The Light-up Dock Shield comes with two acrylic panels with officially licensed artwork and LEDs that have 17 color/effect settings.

There are lots of cool third-party housings for the Nintendo Switch, including ones that are transparent. But transferring the console’s guts can be disastrous if you’re not careful. Good thing JerryRigEverything made a comprehensive how-to video.

Console modder MakoMod went all out for his one-off Nintendo Switch. Based on Link’s handy tool in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the console has been decorated with pine wood, brass, automotive and acrylic paint, putty and varnish, and has LED lights on the dock.

Nyko announced numerous accessories for the Nintendo Switch at E3 2017, but the Portable Docking Kit stands out. It costs half as much as Nintendo’s dock and is way smaller as well. It even comes with an AC adapter and an HDMI cable. The downside? It doesn’t have USB ports.

Everyone and everything wears Mario’s hat in what could be the killer app for the Switch – a massive 3D platformer with the kind of creative level design, innovative and fun gameplay that harkens back to the all-time Nintendo classic Super Mario 64. Drops 10/27/17.

Like Smash Bros. games, the Switch-exclusive boxing game Arms is easy to pick up and play. But if you want to be competitive, you need to know how the different characters and fists work. Mix and match them to suit your style.

Wargroove swears that it’s more than just Advance Wars in a fantasy world. Not that that’s a bad thing. The turn-based strategy game has great pixel art, single-player campaigns, and local and online multiplayer. Coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC.
