Nike saved the best for last. The Kobe 9 High KRM EXT Black Mamba is one mean sumbitch. The shoe has murdered-out faux scales, leather heel and tongue with chrome midsole inlays. Drops 12/31/14.

Based on the Jordan XI, the Jordan Future has a one-piece reflective woven upper and a semi-translucent full length Air outsole. It comes in red or glow-in-the-dark. It retails for $185, but good luck finding it at that price.

Benny Palmeri turned a Nike Kobe 9 Elite Maestro into a replica of the limited edition Nike MAG Back to the Future shoes. They may not have built-in lights, but at least the swoosh and the outsole glow in the dark.
