If you can stomach the two-year, $60/month AT&T DataConnect contract, Radio Shack is offering Acer’s Inspire One netbook for the rock bottom price of $99; the price is good until 12/24.

Asus’ Eee PC 1002HA is their mid-range “style” netbook, with a brushed aluminum case, Atom N270 CPU, 1 GB RAM and 160 GB HDD. The two-cell battery seems weak, but lasts 5 hours.

HP’s Mini 1000 is a 10.2″ netbook that stands apart from other offerings, with a sleeker “clutch” style form-factor and your choice of XP or a custom HP MIE OS that uses Ubuntu Linux.

Love the Mini 9’s portability but want a larger screen? Dell’s Inspiron Mini 12 will arrive stateside in late November; less than 1″ thick, it’ll get an Atom CPU, 12.1″ display and weigh only 2.72 lbs.

Miu’s Hybrid Dual Portable Computer is both a cellphone and a netbook with an Intel Atom CPU. It features a two-sided screen with a 4.1″ TFT on one side and a 2.4″ AMOLED on the other.

Available for preorder: Samsung’s 10.2″ NC10 is slightly faster than Asus’ Eee PC 901, with a roomier anti-bacterial keyboard. It also gets a built-in 1.3MP camera, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

MSI’s second-gen netbook, the Wind U120, isn’t much different from the U100; it does get a sharper, two-toned design and a 3.5G modem with its own SIM card slot; it’ll launch in December.

Although it’s targeted towards the ladies, LG’s Momo X110 netbook has a two advantages: integrated 3G and a more useable keyboard thanks to thoughtfully placed arrow keys.

Only available in the UK at the moment, Toshiba’s NB100 netbook is one of the nicer ones we’ve seen. Otherwise, it’s pretty run of the mill: 1.6 GHz Atom, 1 GB RAM and an 8.9″ screen.

Asus’ Eee PC 901 has dropped by $100, from $600 to $500; we suspect it’s due to competition from other netbooks, including Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9 and the Acer Inspire One.

Just released: Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9 laptop throws its hat into the netbook market. $349 gets you an Intel Atom N270, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB SSD, 802.11g card and Ubuntu. $449 for XP.

Notebook Reviews has a positive review up of the Acer Aspire One. The netbook scores high in terms of build quality and overall value, although the battery life could be longer.

The Asus N10 netbook drops the “Eee” brand in an attempt to focus on its higher-end features. It features a 10.2″ screen, glossy case, fingerprint reader and HDMI out are included.

Lenovo is throwing its hat into the ultraportable ring with the IdeaPad S10, to be released in October. Weighing in at 2.4 lbs, it will have a 10.2″ screen, Intel Atom CPU and come with Windows XP.
