Collectible toy maker NECA is set to release a series of five delightfully detailed figures inspired by E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial. Each comes with props from a memorable moment in the Spielberg classic. The Deluxe Ultimate E.T. figure has a light-up chest, while the Elliot and E.T. one includes a bicycle and a moon backdrop.
Everyone’s favorite 1980s Alien Life Form is ready to land in your toy collection. NECA’s 7″ articulated action figure has interchangeable hands, and accessories like a Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses, a soda can, a bowl of popcorn, a radio, and a cat that looks none too pleased that he’s been turned into a sandwich by ALF. Ships 8.22.
The Universal Monsters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles combine their mutant powers for an epic mashup. The first figure in NECA’s line-up melds Raphael with Frankenstein’s Monster. The 7″ figure gives Raph a stitched-on head, neck bolts, an ill-fitting suit, and comes with three pairs of hands and two lightning bolt sai.
NECA’s 6″ tall figure of the mischievous leader of the gremlin uprising is beautifully detailed, with a tuft of white hair on its head, and beady little eyes. It has 25 points of articulation, including its ears and jaw, and comes with a chainsaw, skateboard, and other accessories.
“The class is Pain 101. Your instructor is Casey Jones.” NECA is releasing a life-size replica of the mask used by actor Elias Koteas when he played Casey Jones in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. It’s made of ABS plastic and has adjustable straps.
NECA’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusive costs $200, but it’s more than worth every penny. You get wonderfully painted 7″ action figures of all four turtles, Shredder, Krang and two foot soldiers, plus accessories and a carrying case. It will also go on sale at NECA’s online store.
