The Favourite is set in 18th century England. Rachel Weisz stars as Lady Sarah, who starts as the close friend of the mad Queen Anne. Emma Stone enters the scene as the servant Abigail, who dreams of returning to the aristocracy, and sees an opportunity with the queen.
