The Motorola VU30 Rapture is a bit of a hybrid cellphone; it’s a clamshell yet still packs a touch sensitive screen and turn-by-turn GPS via Verizon’s proprietary Navigator service.
What Motorola’s i576 cellphone lacks in looks, it makes up for with ruggedness. Military certified for dust, shock, vibration and extreme temps, it also includes Bluetooth and GPS.
New to Motorola’s ROKR line: the EM25 (slider), EM28 (clamshell) and EM30 (candybar) are all cheaper alternatives to the E8. They should be available globally in a few weeks.
Motorola’s MOTO U9 is a slick clamshell phone (T-Mobile & AT&T customers) with an eye-catching external OLED display. Also nice: MP3-friendly buttons, quad-band GSM, and stereo bluetooth.
