Awesome Mondo

Mondo recently hosted a gallery featuring Phantom City Creative’s limited run posters based on Batman: The Animated Series. The first round of posters will be available online starting 3/20/18. Act fast or you’ll miss out on some amazing pieces.

Mondo’s latest statue calls back to the ending of The Legend of Korra, where the Avatar and her girlfriend Asami take a much needed break in the Spirit World. The Mondo exclusive version has backpacks that can be swapped out with the plant.

For its latest tiki mug, Mondo turned to renowned illustrator William Stout. Stout designed a beautiful yet still imposing figure of H.P. Lovecraft’s evil creation onto a 16oz, 8″ carafe. It’s available in four different colors.

Mondo’s The Iron Giant tiki mugs feature a cute rendition of the titular robot. It holds up to 16oz – roughly the amount of tears you’ll shed while watching the film. It’s available in three colors, with a fourth one exclusive to the Alamo Drafthouse.

Danny Elfman’s sweeping soundtrack to Tim Burton’s Batman Returns is coming to vinyl for the first time in 25 years. Mondo’s three-record set includes liner notes, exclusive tracks, and awesome sleeve art by Killian Eng. There will also be a 2XLP release.

The 2001 Archie spinoff film Josie and the Pussycats was too smart for its time (and for how it was promoted). But the band’s catchy original songs are some of the better fruits of the mostly regrettable pop punk era. Now you can get them on vinyl thanks to Mondo.

(PG-13: Language) A vinyl record release of Anomalisa‘s soundtrack. Limited to 1,000 copies, its pop-up-style jacket recreates the hotel rooms in the movie. Note that the music does not hold up on its own, as it is more of a way to remember the film.

Mondo’s upcoming art book is a back catalog of its highly sought-after movie posters. The book includes prints of Olly Moss’ posters for the Star Wars trilogy, Francesco Francavilla’s Clash of the Titans piece, Laurent Durieux’s subtle Jaws poster and many more.

A double-sided record that contains both the NES/Famicom and the arcade versions of Contra’s soundtrack. The yellow/orange/red vinyl is exclusive to San Diego Comic-Con, while the blue/red vinyl will be available on Mondo’s online store on 7/19/17.An

Celebrate the release of one of Marvel’s best movies yet with Mondo’s Spider-Man: Homecoming 1.4″ enamel pins. Sadly, there are no May or Ned pins, but you can choose from Spidey’s homemade suit, his high-tech suit, and the Vulture. You can also get all three for $25.

“You write ‘Born to Kill’ on your helmet, and you wear a peace button. What’s that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?” Mondo continues its Stanley Kubrick Collection with tees, a hoodie and a pin based on the classic war movie Full Metal Jacket.

The second batch of Mondo’s movie-themed tiki mugs feature the Xenomorph. The black, blue and green mugs are available from Mondo; the brown will be unique to the Alamo Drafthouse and the bone mug will be sold as an event exclusive.

Lest we forget that Mondo still makes tees, the company partnered with Alamo Drafthouse and Warner Bros. to create a range of apparel based on the seminal works of director Stanley Kubrick, starting with none other than A Clockwork Orange.

Graphic designer Alan Hynes designed five enamel pins for Mondo based on the dinosaur enclosure icons in Jurassic Park. There’s one each for the T-Rex, velociraptor, triceratops, brachiosaurus and dilophosaurus paddocks. They’re $10 each or $40 as a set.

Turtle power! These radical enamel pins are based on the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, featuring all four turtles as well as Shredder, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady. You can get them for $10 each or in hero/villain four-packs for $35.

Mondo has a treat for your friendly neighborhood DJs and vinyl collectors. This officially licensed turntable accessory has two sides, both taken from Spidey’s 1966 costume by John Romita Sr.

Mondo and graphic designer Alan Hynes created this double vinyl record release of the trip-hop duo Dust Brothers’ original score for Fight Club. The records look like soap, and true to the film, you have to mutilate the sleeve before you can get your hands on the records.

Mondo is releasing Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad’s kickass soundtrack for the Netflix series Luke Cage on two 180g vinyl records. Drawing from ’70s soul, Westerns and ’90s hip hop, the score is vital to the show but also stands on its own.

Mondo is releasing two tees based on the definitive shaolin kung-fu movie in time with its special theatrical re-release, which sees RZA playing a live score alongside the film using instrumental tracks and effects from Wu-Tang Clan’s discography.

“Oh how the gentle wind, beckons through the leaves, as autumn colors fall…” Mondo Music has published all 32 tracks created by The Blasting Company for Cartoon Network’s sublime miniseries Over the Garden Wall. Also coming to Bandcamp, Amazon and iTunes.

Mondo is re-releasing the late Jerry Goldsmith’s intense and avant-garde soundtrack for the original Planet of the Apes film. The vinyls come in purple/black and green/black, as well as limited edition yellow/black variant.

Angelo Baldamenti’s spooky yet comforting score is back on vinyl for the first time in 25 years, courtesy of Mondo. This release features a die-cut outer jacket that complements the David Lynch-approved cover art. Inside are liner notes by Baldamenti and song lyrics.

Half-demon, half-human, all vampire. Mondo’s Marceline statue is the cutest way to add darkness to your life. The polystone statue is 9″ tall and features Marceline floating on her hair along with her snacks. The limited edition version comes with a Hambo figurine.
