A24 is the studio behind such dark and intense movies as Midsommar, Men, and The Lighthouse. Imagine what might happen if the indie studio released Mike Myers’ bizarre live-action version of Dr. Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat. Vanity Fair sat down with Mike Myers and asked him to rewatch scenes from three of his most memorable movies: Austin Powers, Shrek, and Wayne’s World. Along the way, he talks about how he came up with his comedy bits and characterizations and acknowledges the creative teams who helped bring them to life.

(PG-13: Language) Mike Myers created and plays eight different roles in this six-episode series. The story imagines that a secret society has controlled the world’s events for the greater good since 1347. Myers is joined by Ken Jeong, Keegan-Michael Key, Debi Mazar, and Jennifer Saunders. Premieres 5.5.22 on Netflix.

It’s been a while since we had a new Mike Myers movie, but back in the day, he gave us some of the best characters ever. We’d totally be down for a game of Super Myers, in which Austin Powers battles Dr. Evil, Shrek, Wayne, Fat Bastard, the Love Guru, and that OTHER Michael Myers.
