Although this trailer starts off the same as the Halo 3 Recon teaser we ran earlier, this longer version shows a Spartan hiding from Covenant forces; the expansion won’t be out until Fall ’09.
Although light on action, this latest cinematic trailer for Halo Wars explores a bit of the backstory to the game; it’s set at Harvest, approximately 20 years before Halo: Combat Evolved.
Microsoft’s Aero interface is translated into reality with their Wireless Laser Keyboard 6000; both the border and media buttons are translucent, dressing up an otherwise utilitarian design.
Although we’re not sold on its ergonomics, Microsoft’s Arc Mouse definitely turns heads with its folding clamshell design. Along with a tiny USB transceiver, it’s ideal for laptop users.
In addition to their Explorer line, Microsoft has added BlueTrack tech to their SideWinder X8 gaming mouse, giving it an impressive 4,000 DPI and 30 hours on a single charge.
Microsoft’s Explorer Mouse features BlueTrack, a blue laser that works on previously unmousable surfaces such as carpet and marble. It’s also available in a smaller Mini version.
Microsoft’s Zune mp3 player now has a glossy, 120GB version out on Amazon — also, check out the new blue 8GB version, which comes with wireless buying and games.
Microsoft’s Sidewinder X5 mouse is a cheaper, yet slightly improved version of the first Sidewinder. Changes: a smaller, more ergonomic shape and removal of the adjustable weights.
Fable 2 will be available on October 21 in the states; we’re looking forward to the Limited Edition, which includes a Hobbe figure from Qee. Just like life, Hobbe is nasty, brutish, and short.
