Awesome Medleys

The multitalented Daniel Koren (Walking Contest) put together this lighthearted arrangement of 20 memorable TV theme songs, brilliantly bridging between the tracks at times to create entirely new programs. (Thanks Daniel!)

Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser of 2CELLOS perform a head-banging medley which combines The William Tell Overture with Iron Maiden’s The Trooper. We’re surprised their bows have any hairs left on them by the time it’s over.

Bass player Davie504 plays a medley consisting of some of the most memorable and catchiest bass lines, from the songs of Chic and Stevie Wonder to Muse and of course Red Hot Chili Peppers. Thank you Flea, Bass God.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Fredde Gredde, but he’s back, and this time he’s taken 15 classical tunes and created a loosely assembled fairytale by adding lyrics. At times its a bit shaky, but overall it’s an impressive feat.

Musician PelleK covered classic cartoon theme songs from the 1980s and 1990s with his flamboyant power ballad vocalizations, 4-octave range, and a cheesetastic music video to go along with. Oh, and if you’re craving some DuckTales…

The musicians of Carnegie Hall’s Ensemble ACJW play us through a bunch of classic (and a few obscure) cartoons with a jazzy orchestral sound. See if you can name all 43 cartoons, then head to the YouTube page to check your work.

For their Valentine’s Day video, CDZA recorded this medley of tracks about men who have to say farewell to the ones they loved. Voiced by Forest VanDyke, in an arrangement by Jae Lee. They didn’t need to bleep it so much. We can handle it.

Multitalented musician Sarah Schachner performs the theme songs from Halo, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Skyrim, arranging and playing all of the instruments herself, and sounding nearly as epic as the originals.

Musician Diwa de Leon dresses up as Mario, taking on every instrument and conducting himself in this brilliantly-played medley of classic RPG themes. Needs some more Paper Mario though.

Collective Cadenza tracks the changes in man’s courtship by way of popular love songs. The song selection was obviously biased and done for laughs, but it’s not entirely inaccurate either.

Get a sample of Zach Andrew’s impressive mixture of beatboxing and guitar skills as he runs through Eminem’s hits. Hopefully the real Slim Shady approves. Zach also does Street Fighter tunes!
