Awesome Maru

Maru the cat continues to demonstrate his lifelong love for confined places, and successfully manages to cram himself into yet another too-small container. If you think that was impressive, watch this.

It’s been a while since we posted a cat video around here, but we had to take a moment out of our busy day to celebrate an auspicious occasion – the 10th birthday of one of the Internet’s favorite cats – the curious, adorable, rotund, and box-loving Scottish Fold Maru.

You know the drill. Maru the cat. A small box. He’s gonna try and cram his fat ass inside of it. Only this time, we’ve got a see-through container, so we can see just how ridiculous he looks. Seriously, he’s such a dork, but we still love him.

It’s been a while since we checked in Maru, the box-obsessed feline from Japan. Turns out this cat doesn’t discriminate, and he also likes to try and cram himself into paper bags that are too small for him as well.

We know that Maru the cat has a penchant for small boxes. Here the plump cat is determined to cram his butt into yet another container that is way too tiny. Perhaps he’s just used to the tiny apartments in Japan.
