Awesome Luc Besson

Luc Besson’s first big sci-fi flick since The Fifth Element is shaping up to be a real visual humdinger, packed with amazing creatures, costumes, locations, vehicles, and effects. We have no idea if it’ll live up to the original graphic novels, but it’ll sure look pretty doing it.

Luc Besson’s latest sci-fi film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets looks like a futurist’s wet dream, with eye-popping visuals, and a lighthearted, but action-packed world which brings back memories of his classic The Fifth Element. We can only hope it’s as much fun.

Luc Besson is best known for The Fifth Element and The Professional. Here, the director tries his hand at CG animation in a whimsical short film for Renault, which translates to “Extraordinary Breath”.
