THE BEST Lizards
Are Iguanas OP?
While they look pretty badass, iguanas are pretty innocuous creatures, feasting on crickets, and lazing around under a heat lamp. But TierZoo asks us to reconsider our opinions, as they evaluate the mid-tier lizard’s skills to see if the they’re more impressive than you might think.
Komodo Dragon in the Bathroom
“So the next problem we have is how to get a dragon out of the toilet.” BBC’s Planet Earth II shares an unnerving moment in Indonesia, in which cameraman Mark MacEwen came back to his hotel room to find an unwanted visitor in the loo. By the end we find out why it was in there.
Literal Lounge Lizards
Photographer Henry “Lizardlover” Schifberg managed to coax a pair of iguanas (named Baby Love and Buddy Love) into an impressively chill pose, as they enjoy the Southern California sun from a pair of tiny fainting couches.
PGA Iguana
During the 2014 Puerto Rico Open, a curious iguana trotted onto the green at 16, and decided that golfer Andrew Loupe’s ball was some sort of tasty treat. We wonder what the PGA rulebook says about iguanas moving your ball.
How’s It Goin, Bro?
While you might think this bearded dragon is waving hello to the one standing right in front of him, you’d be wrong. He’s made friends with the lizard on the other side of the pet store. It’s sad that they’ll probably never get to meet in person.
Miniature Chamelons
Researchers near Madagascar have discovered chameleons that measure in at just 29mm long when fully grown. We’re still waiting for microscopic polar bears we can have as pets, though.
Bearded Dragon Game Skills
Come on, it’s fun and only a minute long: check out this Bearded Dragon playing Ant Crusher; she, like all of us finely skilled gamers at TA, is definitely not happy when she loses. (Thanks Aric!)
