John Baylies, aka Sousasteps, upgraded his sousaphone in two ways: it controls a synthesizer, so it sounds like an electronic didgeridoo, and its bell is packed with LEDs that change in sync with the music.

World’s Largest Tesla Light Show

Members of the Tesla Club Finland parked their cars and put on a synchronized light show using their vehicles’ headlights and taillights. In all, 687 of the electric vehicles were on hand, and automotive channel Harri Salo posted this aerial footage of the festivities. The light show was put together by Simon Pollock. Flux Light Show

French art collective Scale created this hypnotic mechanical light show that uses computer-controlled motors to rotate 48 individual light bars. The installation, designed for the Constellations festival at Cloître des Récollets is interactive, allowing the public to control the display’s movements, light, and sound.
