This is one power tool you can let your kids play with. LEGO builder František Hajdekr created this awesome little power tool using LEGO Technic parts. It features a moving chain and piston, though sadly, it’s not motorized.

Bricktease made this stop-motion LEGO recreation of the shower stabbing scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Psycho. As a shot-for-shot remake, the tension is just as palpable as it was in the original movie.

Mark Carpenter and his kids have a unique goodie for their fellow LEGO enthusiasts. They designed a 3mm-thick 1×2 LEGO-compatible tile made of aerospace grade glossy black carbon fiber, the perfect finishing touch for your creations.

We won’t blame you if you think the Fire Bucket is an official LEGO kit, but it was actually designed and built by Flickr user sm 01. The remote-controlled car has working lights, doors and suspension. It also has lots of custom decals.

LEGO builders in Sydney, Australia have erected an enormous christmas tree made from LEGO and Duplo bricks. The fake plastic tree measures 32.8 feet tall and weighs over 3.5 tons. It’s on display at the Pitt Street Mall through 12/26/14.

Snooperking made this shot-for-shot LEGO remake of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser. It could use a bit of polish here and there – note the strings on the TIE fighters – but damn that was quick. Oh, and not to be outdone…

LEGO would never in a billion years even think of releasing Citizen Brick’s new LEGO-compatible playset. The Citizen Brick Center for the Performing Arts is “a place where dreamers can dream, and dancers can dance.”

The Dark Knight from the LEGO movies challenges the Man of Steel to a battle. For some reason. Superman doesn’t get it either and refuses to fight, but Bats is determined to throw everything but the Bat Kitchen Sink at him.

Comics Alliance made this neat chart that catalogs the announced lineup of superhero movies from Marvel/Disney, Warner Bros., Sony and Fox. 2017 is crazy packed. We can’t wait for Black Panther and LEGO Batman.

You could sit through 8+ hours of Peter Jackson Hobbit movies, or you could watch Brotherhood Workshop’s LEGO-fied speedrun, which sums up the entire trilogy in about 1/400th the time.

April Fools’ may come only once a year, but dad jokes can strike anytime. Case in point, John Wray and his kids’ LEGO scale model of Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet. Rumor has it that the set comes with a minifigure of Invisible Boy.

LEGO and Volvo give us an idea of how much time, effort and resources (and fun!) went into the making of the new LEGO Technic 42030, a remote-controlled replica of the Volvo L350F wheel loader and A25F hauler.
