Given how good The LEGO Movie was, it may be hard for all of its spin-offs to live up to the original. Still, we’re hopeful that this big-screen take on the popular ninja-themed minifigs will be as action-packed and funny as its first trailer looks. It’s certainly got an awesome voice cast.

After creating a LEGO guitar robot, TECHNICally Possible built this impressive LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot which play the keys on a small electronic keyboard. Here, it takes over the piano part for the song On Longing with Holly Throsby performing vocal duties.

Beyond the Brick shows off the most impressive LEGO mosaic we’ve ever seen – an enormous 15 foot-tall, 300,000 brick version of the oft reinterpreted Adoration of the Magi by artist Dirk Denoyelle. Though the wise men are all a bit more modern than the classical paintings.

LEGO presents three new city construction sets in its Architecture Series. Builders can now create models of iconic structures from Chicago, Illinois, Sydney, Australia, and London, England, including the Willis (Sears) Tower, the Sydney Opera House, and the London Eye ferris wheel.

YouTuber BANANENBUURMAN loves to build over-the-top dioramas and environments using a LEGO model train as his main form of transportation. He’s built a set that runs through an aquarium tunnel, a ridiculously long track, and even figured out how to do a loop de loop.

Chevrolet took wraps off its latest car – the Batmobile from the LEGO Batman Movie. They’re marketing it just like their other cars, and we bet if you did pay them $48 million, they’d figure out a way to make you one. For now, we’ll just have to settle for this. Or THIS.

A few years ago Jason Allemann built a working LEGO keyboard. He recently one-upped his creation by using mechanical key switches for that clicky feel and sound. He 3D printed custom key caps that worked with both LEGO pieces and Cherry MX switches.

Mindstorms for kids. LEGO Boost lets you create programmable robots using a drag-and-drop mobile app and a variety of sensor bricks. The first Boost set lets you build a humanoid, a guitar, a cat, a car and a machine that builds smaller LEGO creations. Drops 8/2017.

AstonishingStudios combined two of our favorite man-child playthings, LEGO and NERF, by creating a fully-functional replica of a NERF Maverick Rev-6 gun using the plastic building bricks. Now we want a LEGO Mega Mastodon.

Artist Mike Doyle creates amazing and unique LEGO models, including these awesomely spooky abandoned homes, made even more creepy through the use of a monochrome black, white, and grey pallette. Be sure to check out his incredible 200,000 piece City of Odan too.

LEGO Ideas member Chiho Kim’s proposal for a kit based on the iconic off-roader. The model even comes with a net to secure things at the back as well as emergency cones. Chiho has since updated the model with larger tires, a light bar, fog lamps and a winch.

We’ve seen machines that could solve simple Rubik’s Cubes very quickly, but this impressive build is not only made entirely from LEGO Mindstorms, but can solve an insanely complex 9x9x9 cube. It takes it about 35 minutes, but we’d like to see you do better.

LEGO’s new BMW R 1200 GS set is boss, but we think this proposal for a 1967 R60/2 has the potential to be even better. Designed by LEGO Ideas member maximecheng03, it’s a tad skinnier than the actual bike, but we’re pretty sure LEGO can easily fix that.

One of the coolest concepts we’ve seen on the LEGO Ideas‘ website, Brett Cuviello’s Iron Giant build is simply spectacular, and does a great job replicating the giant robot from Brad Bird’s 1999 animated classic. The 2,000 piece set would have to be pricy, but we desperately want one.

Students at Germany’s Jade Hochschule created this amazing machine which uses Mindstorms mechanisms along with a class 4 laser to cut, score, and fold a tiny paper box – the one and only product of the world’s smallest factory. Naturally, the place is staffed by Minifigs.

Minifigs with attitude. LEGO Ideas member bruceywan presents this spot-on concept for a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers LEGO set. It comes with all seven Rangers, each with a removable helmet, Zordon, Alpha 5 and the Command Center.

LEGO’s latest awesome ride is based on BMW’s rugged off-road travel bike, the R 1200 GS Adventure. The 603-piece kit is a brilliant recreation of the bike, down to the 2-cylinder boxer engine and BMW logo on the fuel tank. Drops January 2017.

The latest trailer for the solo adventure of Will Arnett’s blocky Batman emphasizes Bruce Wayne’s emotional conflict: he’s lonely, but he’s also afraid of losing his loved ones again. What he doesn’t realize is that he already has family. Even the Joker wants his attention.
