Joy Neon makes custom lighting that looks like neon, but is fabricated from flexible LED tubing, which isn’t fragile and runs on low voltage. Their most impressive work is this low-poly world map that would make an amazing centerpiece in any room. Available in three sizes: 21.6″ x 39.9″, 43.3″ x 78.7″ and 65″ x 118″.

Bitluni’s Lab follows up his sweet LED video wall with a much bigger and more spectacular version. This time, the light grid is made up of 1200 RGB LEDs, set into a punched sheet of aluminum, each capped with a ping pong ball to diffuse the light. This one can also stream live video.

The Apex Pro is designed to offer the fastest response time (0.7ms) and longest life (100 million presses) of any mechanical keyboard you can buy. It also lets you customize the actuation distance of each key individually, has customizable RGB backlighting, and a programmable OLED display and command wheel.

Inspired in part by a scene in The Dark Knight, maker Coltography decided he wanted a fully-illuminated drop-tile ceiling. While he could have gone with old school fluorescent tubes, he built his system using lots of LED light strips. Those touch-based wall controls he made are really slick.

These clever 3D-printed lamps look their light bulb has been shattered. Each is powered by a 6W LED bulb, and measures about 5.5″ across – roughly twice the size of a standard A19 bulb.

This retro-modernist alarm clock clearly gets inspiration from vintage Nixie tubes, but it uses LEDs instead. These red LEDs have two big advantages to Nixie: longevity and power consumption. Modustrial Maker shows us how to build a sweet looking ceiling pendant lamp that looks like it came from an expensive modern lighting store. The trickiest part was getting the wood pliable enough to bend in two directions without cracking, but the finished piece looks like it was worth the effort.

The dancers of Pyroterra Fire & Light show off one of their coolest props. The LED Cube FT is a large, but lightweight cube packed with 1368 RGB LEDs designed for stage performances.
