(NSFW: Language) In the wake of Michael Brown’s shooting, Last Week Tonight looks at the racial profiling from some of Ferguson’s law enforcement officers and politicians, as well as the unneccesary militarization of U.S. police.

Last Week Tonight’s John Oliver looks at payday loans. The $9B industry is abusing loopholes, lobbying and conflicts of interest to get away with absurdly high interest rates. The show then proposes an alternative to these loan sharks.
