Awesome Laser Cutter

Laser cutters are useful tools to have in a workshop, but they take up a lot of space. Rendyr’s Optic Laser Cutter folds up small when not in use, and its detachable cutting mat means you can cut on top of objects like tabletops for a virtually limitless work area. It has dual laser diodes totaling 15-watts and a built-in filtration system.

3D printer manufacturer Piocreat shows how they made a colorful light-up sign of their logo using their Creatwit 3D printer, which is optimized for printing lettering. They filled the fronts of the letters with liquid acrylic to enhance the lighting effect, then laser-cut a backing sheet and attached LEDs before assembling the light.

FLUX, the guys behind the Delta 3D printer have a new product in the works – a desktop CO2 laser engraver and cutter that won’t break the bank. It’s designed for ease of use, yet is as capable as pro models, with on-board camera alignment and water cooling, along with optional autofocus and rotary capabilities for curved objects.
