The Lenovo ThinkPad W700 is a beast: it tips the scales at over 8 lbs. However, it’s the first laptop to have a built-in Wacom tablet. A 1GB Quadro card doesn’t hurt, either.

Dell has a slew of new laptops today; our favorite is the mainstream E6400, which hits the feature-to-size sweet spot with a 14.1″ display and up to 19 hours of battery life with SSD.

HP has released its latest series of business-class workstation notebooks. The 8730w is the flagship laptop, with a 17″ display, Nvidia Quadro FX card and up to 8 gigs of RAM.

Designed by Harald Hynell, the Lap Tray takes work off the desk and into bed. The 24″ width is large enough for a laptop and a cup of joe; the cushioned bottom is a nice touch, too.

Knomo’s Bungo 15″ Messenger Bags look upscale due to the genuine leather flaps and sides, but their nylon construction makes them highly durable and functional.

Lenovo is throwing its hat into the ultraportable ring with the IdeaPad S10, to be released in October. Weighing in at 2.4 lbs, it will have a 10.2″ screen, Intel Atom CPU and come with Windows XP.

Available as of today, the Vostro 2510 is the latest addition to Dell’s small business line. Clad in red, this 15.4″ laptop sports sharp lines, 4 USB ports and a discrete GeForce 8400M GS video card.

The world’s first 16.4″ laptop, Sony’s FW Series gets a bigger screen in a 15.4″ footprint. Other specs: 6.4 lbs, 1600×900, MacBook-style keys, and optional Blu-ray RW drive.
