Just released: Dell’s Inspiron Mini 9 laptop throws its hat into the netbook market. $349 gets you an Intel Atom N270, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB SSD, 802.11g card and Ubuntu. $449 for XP.

Notebook Reviews has a positive review up of the Acer Aspire One. The netbook scores high in terms of build quality and overall value, although the battery life could be longer.

This latest MacBook Pro mockup by Miguel Suarez (his Nano is here) looks like an enlarged MacBook Air. With these leaked case pictures , there may be some truth to his design.

Yup, you read it right–this hip 13″ laptop sleeve is a collab between Arkitip, Incase and street artist KAWS’s Original Fake. The sleeve is debossed with an OF design and is softly padded inside.

The Archos 5 is not quite a laptop or a media player. It sports a 4.8″ touch screen, wi-fi, and doubles as a DVR; the Archos 5g connects to cellphone data networks with a 3.5G antenna.

Although it’s for Asia only, we can’t help but admire the IdeaPad U8’s stylish design; similar to the Gigabyte M528, this MID also has a 4.8″ touch screen. The dongle is for digital television.

Retaining much of the HP 8730w’s visual language, the HP 2530p is an ultraportable with a 12″ LED screen, 80GB hard drive and up to 8 GB of RAM. It weighs just over 3 lbs.

Gateway’s P-7811FX gaming notebook packs in a lot (Geforce 9800M, 4 GB RAM, good battery life) for very little — it’s only a third the cost of a comparable Alienware laptop.

Think of Gigabyte’s MID M528 as a mini-laptop: it has a 4GB SSD hard drive, 4.8″ touch panel LCD, webcam, full 3G and Wi-Fi. We like that it’s now available at almost half its preorder price.

Malcolm Fontier’s bags and wallets have a globe trotting style we totally dig. The Entertainer holds up to a 14″ laptop; it also sports two zipper pockets and one magazine pocket.

The Latitude E4200 is Dell’s smallest laptop ever, weighing in at 2.2 pounds. The 12.1″ notebook will be available in the coming weeks, along with a slightly larger 13.3″ E4300.
