This playful tabletop lamp combines classical sculpture with modern art. Designer Uto Balmoral’s Wonder Lamp features a cast resin head of a Roman warrior who’s here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And he’s not out of bubble gum, thanks to the custom-made pink LED lightbulb sticking out of his mouth.

Artist Pete Betcher of The BKPK Shop makes all kinds of cool and geeky objects for the home. Among them is this illuminated wall art which looks like a modernist Death Star. It’s made from baltic birch plywood and acrylic, and casts cool shadows onto the wall around it. Measures 11″ across, and takes a 40w candelabra bulb.

Athens, Greece artist Roman Parkhin of Banjo Show makes unique sculptures with a steampunk aesthetic. Watch as he turns an assortment of hardware, tubing, and vintage radio tubes into a funky accent light under a glass dome. At its center is a radiometer, a device which spins when exposed to the heat generated by a light.

Magnetic Games presents yet another wonderfully satisfying video, in which he uses hundreds of magnetic rods and spheres to create an complicated geometric sculpture. Artist Mr. Zhou presents a wonderfully satisfying crafting video. The clip features ample doses of woodturning, pouring colorful epoxy resin, and then shaving the whole thing down to reveal its finished form – an accent light that illuminates with the colors of the rainbow.
