Only hypercar maker Koenigsegg could come up with a car that makes 1700bhp, but seats four. The plug-in hybrid’s electric motors makes 1100 of those horses, and a tiny 2.0L twin-turbo 3-cylinder engine somehow makes 600 horses. It’s also all-wheel drive, with rear wheel steering, and has enough room for carry-on luggage.

Koenigsegg’s new track monster. The Jesko has a twin-turbo 5L V8 that produces up to 1600 hp, theoretically launching the car to speeds up to 300 mph. It has a proprietary seven-clutch, nine-speed gearbox that automatically chooses the right gear for the situation.

The first two of 80 Regeras. Built to their owners’ requests, the first one has a green tinted clear coat with brown leather interior, while the second one has a red and black body with black leather interior. Both vehicles have hollow carbon fiber wheels.

Supercars, hypercars, and now megacars. That’s the path taken by Sweden’s Koenigsegg. This 1500hp hybrid is driven by an 1100hp V8, three electric motors, and a crazy direct drivetrain that requires no gears. Hits 248mph in just 20sec. Yup.

Its 5L turbocharged V8 produces 1,360hp at 7,500rpm and a crazy 737lb-ft. of torque at just 3,000rpm. Mate that with its lightweight carbon fiber monocoque and 3D printed internals and you have a rocket ship that aims to hit 280mph.

The latest Agera R has the first one-piece carbon fiber wheel and enhanced aerodynamics. It still has a 5.0L V8 engine that pumps out 1,140hp. Tops out at 273mph and goes from 0 to 62 in 2.9s.

One of the most badass cars to come out this year, the Agera R is equally mean inside – its 5L twin-turbo V8 cranks out up to 1,115hp. Does 0-62 in 2.9s with a theoretical top speed of 273mph.

Koenigsegg’s Agera is CCX-sized racer with a brand new look and power to match; a 910 hp 4.7L V8 goes 0-62 in 3.1s, thanks in part to a CF/aluminum chassis that weighs just 72kg.
