Maker Xyla Foxlin admits that her design for a bulletproof party dress is completely impractical. But that doesn’t make it any less impressive. She created this wild-looking outfit by creating a custom dress form from duct tape and foam, then sculpted the dress from sheets of Kevlar and carbon fiber cloth.

SlyKly’s very special playing cards are made by cutting them one at a time from a sheet Kevlar – the same tough material used in bulletproof vests. While an individual card won’t stop a bullet, a stack of 10 or 12 of them can perform that feat without a problem.
