To coincide with the release of Top Gun: Maverick, The Late Late Show host James Corden met up with Tom Cruise to take a celebratory flight. But it was no ordinary flight, with Cruise piloting a vintage fighter plane and Corden afraid of crawling into its cockpit, let alone engaging in a dogfight. Then it’s time for Top Gun school.

With Cruella offering a dark origin story for the 101 Dalmatians villainess, Disney might give us more of the same. James Corden and the Jonas Brothers explore what made Eeyore so depressed, how the dogs got spaghetti in Lady and the Tramp, and what the deal was with the “I need six eggs” lady in Beauty and the Beast.

Melissa McCarthy stars in this comedy about a woman who comes face-to-face with an AI who says that it will destroy the Earth if she can’t prove that humanity is worth saving. James Corden voices the machine, while McCarthy’s husband and writing partner Ben Falcone directed the film. Drops 11.26.2020 on HBO Max.
