Awesome Jaguar

A hopped up version of Jaguar’s already very impressive SUV. This one gets the same 550 hp supercharged V8 that comes in the F-TYPE R, and does 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 sec. It also rocks performance aero, shocks, brakes, exhaust and SVR tuning of all key systems.

Jaguar’s first ever pure EV, the AWD I-PACE has dual motors making 394 hp, a 0-to-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, 240 mi driving range, a lightweight aluminum structure, 50/50 weight balance, active air suspension, a luxe cabin with room for five, and SUV-like cargo space.

We headed to the French island of Corsica to spend some quality time behind the wheel of Jaguar’s beautiful baby crossover. In R-Dynamic trim, it packs a zippy 296hp turbo 4, and its active driveline offers fantastic control and handling. Plus it seats five, and looks spiffy.

It might be 50 years old, but this E-Type is anything but antique. This Series 1.5 roadster has been beautifully restomodded with a pure-electric drivetrain that cranks out nearly 300 hp, launching it from 0-to-62 mph in 5.5s – about a second quicker than its original V6 gas engine.

Jaguar’s new compact SUV made quite the debut, setting a record for the longest ever barrel roll in a production vehicle. It borrows heavily from the excellent F-PACE, with sporty good looks, premium materials, AWD, and up to 296 hp for a 0-60 mph time of 5.9 seconds.

Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations took the sporty XE sedan and transformed it into a track beast. This beautiful, aerodynamic, carbon fiber lightened monster rocks a 5.0L supercharged V8, carbon ceramic brakes, and does 0-to-60 in 3.3 seconds, with a 200 mph top speed.

Jaguar’s performance luxury wagon comes to the US. Only now, it’s got an aluminum body, 50/50 weight balance, and a supercharged 380 hp V6 that launches it to 60 mph in 5.3s. It holds up to 69.7 cu. ft. of cargo, and has an air suspension for stability even with a load.

Jaguar’s sport sedan gets a major dose of power, with a 5.0L supercharged V8 making 592 hp, with increased airflow to feed that hungry engine, lots of aero upgrades, and more goodies that we don’t know about yet. Just 300 will be made, and full specs drop on 6/28/17.

Jaguar will soon be offering 10 Series 1 E-Types that have been restored to their original specifications and condition, thanks to the master builders at Jaguar Land Rover Classic Works. It’s the only way to bring back the legendary sports car.

Jaguar’s upcoming all-electric crossover, the I-PACE Concept was recently set loose on the streets of London, tooling around the Olympic Park area in a sexy fire-engine red paint. The 400 hp, 220 mile range, AWD EV will go into production in 2018.

We flew to Arjeplog, Sweden to drive some of Jaguar and Land Rover’s awesome cars on challenging ice circuits, and spent the better part of a week going sideways and doing donuts. Attend for yourself, and you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.

Jaguar comes out swinging with its first EV. This sport crossover looks fantastic, has a spacious cabin that seats five, a 220 mi driving range, and can go 0-to-60 in about 4 sec thanks to two motors that produce 400hp and 516 lb-ft. of torque. Goes into production in 2018.

LEGO Ideas contributor Ozzyeatingbats presents a concept for a model of Jaguar’s greatest design achievement, the car Enzo Ferrari once called “the most beautiful car ever made.” It’s appx. 1:10 scale, made from 1664 bricks, and has a big inline 6-cylinder engine.

We recently had the opportunity to test out the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE R-Sport SUV over on 95octane, and while we had it on hand, we couldn’t resist the urge to park it alongside its muse. While the F-TYPE would win in a race, the F-PACE is a truly sweet daily driver.

Jaguar is teaming up with British skiing champion Graham Bell to see just how fast a man can glide across the snow. In 2017, Bell will don a special ski suit and jet pack to push him up to 160mph. Until that happens, watch Bell hit 100mph as he’s towed behind a Jaguar XE.

Eagle’s third bespoke Jaguar E-Type is a drop top version of the Low Drag GT, with a raked windscreen and a folding fabric roof. Like its siblings, it has an aluminum body, a 5-speed gearbox and Eagle’s 345hp straight-six engine. It’s limited to six units, each costing $1M.
